i was always interested in science, but I only knew I wanted to do it for a job when I got to about 20 and started doing a research project at Uni.

      Hello 🙂

I always thought I wanted to work in science… or anything medical related. I studied to be a vet and on my final year during my very last exam (I was 24) a professor asked me if I wanted to work with pets or farm animals. I thought about it but I could just come out with “I want to work in genetics”. And that’s how I knew.

      Hi Em,

I think it must have been while I was studying Biology as an undergraduate at university.. I always knew I liked science, especially Biology, but I didn’t really have a clear idea of what you could actually do for a job with science. When I realised that you could get PAID to basically be interested in science and try to figure things out with research I thought that sounded pretty cool.
