• Question: what happens to the brain when ageing happens?

      Tough question. I guess the same as most other organs in that it tends to work less well. Things like memory, reaction speeds all get a bit worse as we get older. I’m dreading it – my memory is bad enough now! Eventually, the brain an become affected by diseases such as dementia, which seem to speed up this progressive loss off function.
