That would have to be biology, my branch being physiology. My research broadly focuses on muscle function. This includes the measurement of age-related change in muscle quality, injury related change in muscle function and response to therapeutic intervention.

Biology. More specifically bio medical science. More specifically genetics.
But I studied to be a vet.

Hi cams – Biochemistry! I study biological samples and systems and process by looking at the chemicals that drive them. Definitely not Physics, though!

Hi Cams, I’m not sure I can give you a firm answer to this. I would say Biology but I use elements of maths, chemistry, physics and engineering in my work.

Are you wondering what subjects to choose for A levels or something like that?

Biology! I study the immune system – immunology- and that tends to be classed as a biomedical science.
