• Question: will it ever be possible to double a humans life or extend it?

      Probably we will be have to extend our life span, yes. We already live much longer than people from the past and the more we understand diseases the more we can defeat them (or delay them).

      We can certainly extent lifespan – we’ve been doing that for the last couple of hundred years at least. However I think that doubling it may be an issue – my guess is that longest we’ll ever be able to live for is about 120 years, unless something highly spectacular and unexpected happens.
