      Hi guys.
I don’t think we can ‘cure’ ageing. It’s a natural process. However we can slow down the effects of ageing, either by diet, exercise, learning how to live will and maybe the odd medicine on the way. We call this ‘healthy ageing’. When is hard to predict. I expect most of you guys will live to be close to 100, anyway.

Brilliant thought but no, you probably can’t stop (cure) aging.

There are likely to be cures for age-related diseases in the future and you can slow down the aging process by eating healthy and doing exercise.

      Hi all,

So ageing itself is just the process of becoming older, which means you can never do anything about that (without stopping time!). But if you mean the changes to our bodies that tend to accompany growing older, then I think there have already been a lot of improvements in the last couple hundred years that mean people age more healthily, and therefore live longer. For example, improved dental hygiene (brush your teeth!) means elderly people usually still have all of their teeth, and understanding the importance of sunscreen means more people will have healthier skin in older age too. Other things like improved eating habits and understanding the importance of exercise also have big effects. My grandpa is in his 70s and still goes to the gym most days!
