      Hi Emily,

A nebuliser works from an oxygen supply. In hospitals, this oxygen supply is often piped through the hospital from large tanks of liquid oxygen which are stored safely outside. However, it is possible to also ‘capture’ or enrich oxygen from the air using a special type of puump and these can be carried around as portable nebulisers. Hope that helps!
