      Hi Cam,

      the oldest person ever was a French woman called Jeanne Calment who lived to 122. The record for men is 116, by Jiroemon Kimura from Japan.

      The oldest people still living are an american woman, Susannah Mushatt Jones who is 116, and another Japanese man, Yasutaro Koide, who is 112.
