• Question: What happens if you shatter a bone will it fix itself.

      Hi can – whatever you do don’t test this out.

      if you shatter a bone it will TRY to fix itself – it’s what the body does. However if it’s not a clean break my guess is that it wouldn’t fix itself that well – the new bone would certainly not be as strong as the old one….

      I really really depend on the type of fracture. The bone will indeed fix itself in any cases but without lining up properly, the new bone will grow in a funny why, not in a smooth way like it should be.
