• Question: What is at the bottom of a black hole???

      Hi Ciara,

      Not my area but I have an interest.

      As far as I know, a black hole is 3-dimensional, like a misshapen ball, so it doesn’t have a bottom as such, but it does have a centre. Its formed by a star collapsing which sucks everything in 9including light, which is why it’s black. Theoretically, at it’s centre point is something called a singularity – an infinitely dense, infinitely small point which contains everything that has been sucked into the hole…
