The best thing I’ve ever done in my life, apart for marrying my wife and having my children, is probably driving a single seat racing car round Donington Park! It was awesome. The best thing I’ve done with work is either going to a conference at the British Embassy in Paris (they even have a grass tennis court in the back garden), or travelling to Seattle for a conference and having dinner at the top of the Space Needle there.

The best thing I’ve ever done is helping my mum and brother when our family went through a hard time. The next has to be when I coached 15 novice runners to run their first half marathon. If it was for myself, I would have to say my PhD is the best thing I have ever done.
