      Hi, I don’t know much about bone structure so I had to look this up.. thanks for the question, I’ve learned something answering it:)

      Bone is not a uniformly solid material, but is mostly a matrix. The strong part is made up of a mixture of minerals including calcium phosphate which helps the bone to be rigid and collagen which is a protein that helps the bone be less likely to fracture.
