Hi Poppy. Interest mainly. The best part of my GCSE and Alevels biology was the human body lessons. My biology degree had lots of plant biology and microbiology but again it was the bits about how genes and cells work and how they contribute to disease that I found the most interesting.

I’d like to says it because I’ve always been driven to find a cure for the worlds diseases but it’s not the – it’s just what I find interesting and challenging. And science is hard – you’ve got to have that interest Andy enthusiasm to keep trying, but as long as you enjoy it, I’d recommend it without hesitation.
